Madhura Murati Video on browser

June 5, 2011

I have clipped this dance sequence portion from May 31, 2011 episode and it is available in the downloads section. However if you like the convenience of viewing the video in your browser, you can do so at this link:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31227912/madhuramurati.html

The reason why I have a separate video download apart from the episode in youtube is because youtube will convert the video to a quality level it is comfortable with. So the quality may not be preserved (or youtube may decide to improve the quality if the upload is grossly bad, but in this case, our video is too hot for youtube not to apply it’s downgrade scissors). And also I have applied Occam’s razor and removed the unnecessary portions from the episode – just dance – pure dance …. Please remember, you will need around 1.5 mbps internet link for a smooth playback, otherwise you have to pause it and wait for it to be downloaded completely before playing. And you may need a good CPU too as h.264 is resource heavy. Quality doesn’t come cheap 🙂

Madhura Murati Video – May 31, 2011

Hoeto aage Payel er gun gaan korechi Srimati Behula r sammaanaarthe, kintu ei dance sequence ta dekhe mante hobe je meye taar talent aache – ja expression, theek i Bhogoban Shib er Rudra Murti. Tai ei dance sequence ta r archival quality preserve korte laage – jotokhani para jaae broadcast teke kora. Niche duto link – jodi apnader lage taahole download korte parben.

Original Broadcast Capture MPEG2 720×576 (198 MB) – TV te dekhar jonno eta theek hobe.

H.264 640×480 (64 MB) – youtube er quality teke bhaalo.

Addendum: If you are using some cheap headphones (like the ones that Kingfisher used to dish out ;-)), the sound may seem low. Sorry I don’t have time to increase the volume in the video. But you need to jack it up – believe me it makes a difference. If you are already at full volume, use externally amplified speakers. Or if you are using PC, download K Lite Codec Pack. You will find the Media Player Classic (MPC)  in that package. When you play the videos with MPC, the notification area on the right side of the taskbar will have a small blue colored icon named “FFA”. Double click that and you will get the “ffdshow audio decoder configuration”. On the left hand side check on ” volume”.
